Prior to joining Apex Leaders, Tennyson worked as a marketing and events representative intern for Dreamstyle Remodeling. In that role she planned and executing a variety of home shows around the Boise metropolitan area and completed market research relevant to Dreamstyle’s target market.

Prior to joining Apex Leaders, Emily built a successful career in healthcare as a Physical Therapist, Board Certified Sports Specialist, and Emergency First Responder. Her experience spans large hospital systems and private practice, culminating in business ownership. Throughout her career, Emily has consistently prioritized building strong personal connections with her clients, believing that open communication, education, and collaboration are essential to achieving optimal outcomes in both physical therapy and business settings.

Prior to this role, Lily served as Apex’s Research Manager, where she coordinated research requests and training across the firm while managing the internal team of Research Associates. Her earlier experience includes managing front-end operations and client experiences as a patient coordinator for a chiropractic clinic in Idaho’s Treasure Valley. These roles honed her ability to navigate complex client requirements with a personable, professional approach.
Lily has a BA in Multidisciplinary Studies with a certificate in Applied Leadership from Boise State University.

What I’m most passionate about outside of work:
My dog, lifting heavy weights, and food. My dog, Clifford, is a rescue mutt and I try to spend as much time with him as I can. I compete in weightlifting and CrossFit and train about 6 days a week — so that takes up a lot of my time but I love feeling strong and am very competitive. Since I expend so much energy, it takes a whole lot of food to keep me going and whether it’s cooking, baking, or going out, I really like to eat. I have also recently taken up photography.
