As a Client Services Manager, Sam works with clients to better understand their needs and connect them with high quality industry experts that can help them make informed investment decisions. Prior to joining Apex Leaders, Sam worked at Central District Health in Boise as an Environmental Health Specialist, working in the food and childcare programs. In college he worked as a conductor for the Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad where he led a train crew through the San Juan National Forest.
Sam holds a BS in Biology from Boise State University.

Prior to joining Apex Leaders, Michael worked in sales and finance related roles in the digital freight matching space. He helped fledgling transportation companies improve their cash flow by understanding their business, walking them through underwriting, and helping them get paid quickly.

What I’m most passionate about outside of work:
Outside of work, you can find me taking advantage of Idaho’s outdoor wonderland. I like to challenge myself by whitewater kayaking the rivers — especially in the spring when the snow melts. In the summer I enjoy mountain biking with my wife and dog, and in the winter we love backcountry skiing in the Sawtooth mountains.

Purchased multiple season passes to ski resorts in the area to maximize number of turns and days on the mountain this winter.
